ALASKA WATERCOLOR SOCIETY 47TH JURIED EXHIBITION
The "Dressed in Her Best, Jordan" watercolor was chosen and is posted on the website in a virtual show. Sue Archer was the juror and awarded me Honorable Mention.
The Thrive Health Club is an exciting community space for exercise and more. Currently they have a wall of art works by the Visual Arts of Lewisville members...so go by and see 3 of my paintings at 1950 S Valley Pkwy!
The Richardson Civic Art Society is sharing works by its members at the public library on Arapaho Drive 27 June to 20 August. There are some real bargains...my 5 works range from $100-$175.
The installation of a public art sculpture outside the Patterson-Appleton Art Center in Denton at Hickory and Bell Ave at the main entrance is complete. This is a collaboration of many artists and consists of turned wood, colored glass, lettering in collage, fused and stained glass. I also participated.
See my art at Main Street Cafe (the former Tierney's Tavern and Restaurant)! Main Street Cafe shows work by members of the Visual Arts of Lewisville. I have 4 very large images currently hanging: textile, acrylic and a watercolor canvas print (2' x 3') in the west dining room. The address is 208 E Main Street, open hours 6am-9pm.

My mural of Denton was selected by Wal-Mart for their public art project to install murals in their stores. A specially designed mural showing the "Vibe of Denton, Texas" was chosen for the Loop 288 Super Wal Mart location, where it is now installed. The design is posted under the Public Art tab. Of course, I haven't been able to see the real installation yet...
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX
I was chosen by the City of Grand Prairie Public Art Program to have two of my watercolor images transferred with vinyl wrap to traffic signal boxes. In 2019 my "Tangled Tulips" watercolor was installed at the intersection of Carrier Parkway at Hill St and in 2018 "Red Dragons" was selected for the intersection of Carrier Parkway and Arkansas Street. SAN ANTONIO, TX
My "Spirit of Chichen Itza, Mexico" watercolor has been accepted in the Texas Watercolor Society in their 72nd National Juried Exhibition 11 June-12 August. The juror is Karen Vernon.
"Birds of a Feather, Ghost Ranch" is a round weaving I did with my summer workshop group. It has been accepted to the 30th Annual Breckenridge Fine Arts Center Exhibition. The show runs 6 July-28 August.

The 2020 Keller Art Walk scheduled for November in the Old Town West area has been postponed until Nov 2021. I have been chosen by the City of Keller
to be one of the plein air artists available. I will be showing how to create pen and ink with watercolor on site. More details later.
A solo show scheduled in 2020 at the Box Gallery at Royal Lane Baptist Church, Dallas will be rescheduled 2021. Details will be posted later!

My "Dressed in Her Best, Jordan" watercolor was awarded 3rd place in the Art of the Month for Richardson Civic Art Society.
"Henri's Yellow Tulips" was awarded 2nd place, watercolor, by juror, Andrea Karnes, Senior Curator at the Fort Worth Art Museum in the 36th Texas and Neighbors Juried Exhibition.
May I was the presenter for a zoom program for Society of Watercolor Artists.
In May I participated at an Artist Pop Up in the Wayne Ferguson Plaza, Old Town Lewisville, TX.
The Society of Watercolor Artists voted "Golden Bounty" 2nd place for the January Art of the Month.
Visual Arts of Lewisville awarded 2nd place February Art of the Month for "Rainbow Tulips," a watercolor and in April "Two-Inch Orbit", a mixed media work won 1st place with VAL.
