Another virtual exhibition for 2020, the Society of Watercolor Artists presents their anuual Membership Exhibition with my
"Turquoise Tipped Agave" included by juror, Janet Rogers.
The former Tierney's Tavern and Restaurant has new ownership with a new look and menu! Main Street Cafe shows work by members
of the Visual Arts of Lewisville. I have 3 very large watercolor canvas prints (2' x 3') in the west dining room. The address is 208 E Main Street, open hours 6am-9pm.
My mural of Denton was selected by Wal-Mart for their public art project to install murals in their stores. A specially
designed mural showing the "Vibe of Denton, Texas" was chosen for the Loop 288 Super Wal Mart location, where it is now installed. The design is posted under the Public Art tab. Of course, I haven't
been able to see the real installation yet...

I was selected by City
of Grand Prairie Public Art Program to have two of my watercolor images transferred with vinyl wrap to
traffic signal boxes. In 2019 my "Tangled Tulips" watercolor was installed at the intersection of Carrier Parkway at Hill St and in 2018 "Red Dragons" was selected for the intersection of Carrier
Parkway and Arkansas Street. (Take a peek on the Public Art tab above)
is where I am scheduled!
2021: Let's Hope We Get Our Lives Back!
The 2020 Keller Art Walk scheduled for November in the Old Town West area has been postponed until Nov 2021. I have been chosen
by the City of Keller
to be one of the plein aire artists available. I will be showing how to create pen and ink with watercolor on site. More

13-19 June 2021.

October/November: Texas Visual Arts Association hosted its Citation 2020 Juried Exhibition online. Two of
my works were chosen. It is my 5th juried show acceptance to TVAA which entitles me a Signature Status.

Three of my works were included in categories of photography, acrylic/oil and watermedia. Juror, Dawna Hamn Walsh, PhD chose my photograph,
"Varnassi Sunrise, India" for 2nd place in Photography/Digital Art.
September/October: A double-page spread from my art journal was displayed in the Visual Arts League of Lewisville "Melodies of the Soul" in
the MCL Grand Art Gallery. My "Spirit of the Soul" won 3rd place.
August/September: "Not Your Ordinary Cabbage" won 1st place in watercolor at the Richardson Civic Arts

In March I was invited to judge the Pecan Plantation Art Guid Spring Show at the Dora E Langdon Center,
Gordon House, in Granbury, TX.
My "Over the Line", a 20" x 20" acrylic piece on canvas won 1st place, March Art of the Month at the
Visual Arts League of Lewisville.
At the Lake Granbury Art Association Fall Show I had two pieces accepted: a weaving and a watercolor. The
painting, "Night Blooms of Nairobi, Kenya" was awarded First Place by juror Justin Burns.
The Visual Arts Society of Texas in Denton voted "Turquoise Tipped Agave", a watercolor with ink accents
as second place for the January Art of the Month.
