The first place 3-D went to my "Thirsty" at the Trinity Arts Guild in Bedford, TX.
My "Red Dragons" image was chosen for a traffic box at the intersection of Arkansas and Cannon
in Grand Prairie. It appears on my website front page.
At the SouthWest Artists, Inc in Mena, ARK I won an Award of Merit for my "Unzipped" mixed media.
In April I taught a 4-day workshop in Topeka, KS for the Topeka Art Guild.
"Home of the Ancients" was painted on site at Montezuma's Castle in AZ and was chosen as April Art of the Month at the Society of Watercolor
My "Waiting in Ireland" photograph won 2nd place Art of the Month at the Feb Visual Arts of Lewisville meeting.
In February I gave watercolor demos to the Grand Prairie Art Asso ("Exploring Texture and Watercolor")
and in Fort Worth to Society of Watercolor Artists ("Painting from Your Travel Photos--Cambodia").
"Thirsty Too" won 2nd place as Art of the Month at the Visual Arts Society of Texas January meeting. It
is a 3-D collage designed to hang on the wall.
"Stranded in New Zealand" watercolor won 1st place Member's Choice Award with the Richardson Civic Art
Society in January.
