Great news for my Ghost Ranch Workshop/Retreats in New Mexico--there are 2 in
2020! 31 May-6 June come for a media extravaganza with something different each day--textiles, jewelry, printmaking, etc! The UN-traditional watermedia workshop/retreat is 27 September-3

I was selected by City of Grand Prairie Public Art Program to have two of my watercolor
images transferred with vinyl wrap to traffic signal boxes. In 2019 my "Tangled Tulips" watercolor was installed at the intersection of Carrier Parkway at Hill St and in 2018 "Red Dragons" was
selected for the intersection of Carrier Parkway and Arkansas Street. (Take a peek on the Public Art tab above)

The Society of Watercolor Artists is hosting its Annual Juried Membership Show 29 Sept-Nov 30 in the University of
North Texas Health Science Building Atrium Gallery. Come see the art work chosen by well-known Baton Rouge artist, Judy Betts as juror. This is the first showiing of my "Novice Monks of Myanmar" from
my trip to Burma.
The Lake Granbury Art Asso Fall Juried Show is showing at the Shanley House 7 Nov-27 Dec. Two of my works are included: "Birds
of a Feather" (weaving you can see at the right on my Ghost Ranch postcard) and watercolor "Night Blooms, Nairobi, Kenya." Juror is Justin Burns. My watercolor won First Place given by the Granbury

In August 2020 my work will fill the large glassed display case at the Lewisville City Library on Main Street.
SOUTHERN FRANCE IN 2021!
We had such a marvelous (and delicious) time in Southern France during July 2019 that we are returning to the same

A new year begins....
My "Night Blooms, Nairobi, Kenya" won first place in the Lake Granbury Arts Association Fall Juried Show
Bev Boren juried the Richardson Civic Art Society Membership Show and gave my watercolor, "Night Blooms,
Nairobi" an award.
"The Message", a mixed media
with oil, cold wax and pastel won the Abstract Award of Merit in the 2019 National Small Works Show in Mena, ARK. This, along with another piece accepted, and an award last year has earned my
Signature Status with SouthWest Artists, Inc.

In Lewisville the MCL Grand Hosted "America the Beautiful" Juried Exhibition in January. One of my 3 pieces accepted, "Ghosts in the Snow,
Ghost Ranch," a photograph, won Honorable Mention. (I awlays wanted to see the Ranch in the wintertime and it did not disappoint with snow flurries as I arrived on the property.)
During the month of March the north hallway at the Lewisville MCL Grand hosted the winning monthly art pieces from 2018. My photograph,
"Morning Ride, Magilligan Point, Northern Ireland" was included.
I have provided demo
painting/ workshops for several North Texas art associations: Lewisville, Fort Worth, McKinney, Gainesville, Decatur, Sherman, Paris, Mid-Cities, Johnson County in Cleburn, Grand Prairie and
Weatherford. Further away, I've taught workshops at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu and Santa Fe, NM; Branson, MO; Sedona, AZ and Topeka, KS.
